Sumedha Karunatillake holds a Diploma in Computer Assisted Small Business Management and a National certificate in Dairy management. Trained in M&E, Training of Trainers (TOT) and Total Quality Management (TQM) in Sri Lanka, Bolivia, Thailand, USA, India and Nepal. He counts over thirty years of experience as aconsultant trainer. He has specific expertise in the areas of community development, Fair Trade, Participatory planning monitoring and Evaluation, income generating projects, participatory learning approaches, team building, TQM and entrepreneurship development. He is a former Regional General Manager of Fairtrade International’s Network of Asia & Pacific Producers for Sri Lanka Pakistan and Central Asia.

Ganga has over 26 years of experience in Office Administration with Bi Water International, PMHE Project – Mahaweli System C, and ETC Lanka (Private) Limited. She holds diplomas in Computer Programming and Advanced Programming Techniques from the National Institute of Business Management (NIBM), and has completed the Higher Diploma in Business Management and Administration offered by the Institute of Management in Sri Lanka.(IMSL) and Bachelor of Human Resource Management, Open University of Sri Lanka, Nawala

ETC Lanka works with a pool of quality conscious, well experienced and academically qualified consultants from a wide range of fields such as: Quantitative and Qualitative research, Statistics, Participatory Approaches, Community and livelihood development, Fisheries, Micro credit and Sociology. Mr. Sirisena counts 23 years of professional experience, predominantly at grassroots level. Trained in Sri Lanka, India, Bagladesh and Thailand, his areas of expertise include social mobilization, small business development, savings and credit, leadership building, farm planning and participatory technology development.

Dr.Handawela is well-known for research activities in the Department of Agriculture, Sri Lanka for nearly 20 years. He has studied rain-fed agriculture extensively. He has completed many assignments in natural resource management, land use and agronomy for development and conservation. DrHandawela holds a PhD in Agriculture from the Kyoto University, Japan.

Dr.Wijetilleke has over 35 years of extensive experience in the field of Education and Women’s Development. She has expertise in facilitating development of Under privileged women in both Rural and Plantation sectors, credit and training for economic development, worker education, up-liftment of living standards of women and children and conduct of research studies. She has worked with UNICEF and been a Visiting lecturer at many Training workshops on Project Management/Gender Issues and Women’s Empowerment in Sri Lanka and neighboring countries. Has been a Guest speaker on Women’s Development Issues in Sri Lanka, UK and USA. Co-Authored a Training Manualusing participatory methodologies for OEF – USA and Women’s Bureau of Sri Lanka. She was awarded Woman of the Year 2000 by American Biographical Institute Inc. and the LiyaAbhimani Award in 2011.

Dr.Nishadi possesses over eighteen years of experience as a specialist and a consultant in formulating and conducting socially inclusive development studies, strategies and action plans for social equality in community empowerment and institutional development. She has expertise in social and gender equity in poverty issues, human rights, infrastructure development, irrigation and water management, agriculture, water and sanitation, biodiversity, climate change, social capital, and youth education and child rights. She specializes in gender mainstreaming, gender budgeting, action plan preparation, gender sensitive monitoring and evaluation, Initial Environment Examination (IEE) and CSR projects in Eco-tourism.

Dr.Jayasena is a former Deputy Director (Research) and one time Head of the Agricultural Planning and Evaluation Division of the Hector Kobbekaduwa Agrarian Research and Training Institute (HARTI). He holds a PhD in Rural Regional Development planning from the Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok and a MA in Geography from the University of Peradeniya Has many years of extensive experience and expertise in designing and conducting and leading research studies and project/program evaluations particularly in the field of Agriculture and community development, for both Government and Non governmental organizations in Sri Lanka and abroad. Additionally he has over 20 years of practical experience in conducting Participatory Rural Appraisal projects and conducting PRA trainings for various Government and NGO officials.

Mr.Obris Has a BA in Arts and a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Sociology. He is a Certified Consultant in Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) MYRADA –India, trained in Total Quality Management (TQM)-Team Technologies Inc. India he is a Certified Consultant in Total Quality Management by the Quality College, Philippines, Certified consultant in Know About Business by ILO and Borderlands Sri-Lanka. He specializes in conducting/facilitating impact evaluations and perception studies, Second Generation Tracer Studies and labour market surveys. For a substantial number of leading Government, private sector and local and International Non Governmental organizations.

Mr. Wettasinghe has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Colombo a National Diploma in Technology in Chemical Engineering from the University of Moratuwa and a Diploma in Health & Safety from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo.

Professionally he is Lead auditor ISO 9001:2015(QMS),ISO 14001:2015(EMS) and OHSAS 18001:2007, Lead Assessor ISO 17025:2005 from SLAB (Testing laboratory Accreditation system) and a Certificate auditor ISO 22001: 2005, SA 8000 and BRC standards. He is also a Six Sigma green belt and LEED management systems certificate holder and has followed Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) certification scheme with SLSI. He has a Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo. 

He is well versed with operation and Quality Assurance systems in industrial environments and highly experienced in training, development and system implementation functions of industrial based firms with over one thousand multidisciplinary technical and office staff. His expertise is in working with ISO accredited firms for implementation of systems, disciplines and provision of certification advisory support, guidance and follow up.
